INFORMATION FOR ARTISTS

We support artists wanting to create and participate in ambitious, challenging exhibitions and events. If you are interested in working with us, please read this information for artists:

We host a programme of artist-led exhibitions, giving artists an opportunity to show their work in our architect-designed gallery, planned with the support of gallery staff.  The gallery is on the ground and first floors with a shopfront on a pedestrian lane off Richmond Green. It is light and domestic in scale, with an integral hanging system and specialist track lighting.

We showcase our exhibiting artists on our website, in our newsletter and on social media. Artists have access to our network of visitors who appreciate the chance to visit and exchange views.

We are dedicated to bringing art by a diverse range of artists to as wide an audience as possible and believe that everyone benefits from such an approach. We will actively promote diversity and eliminate unfair discrimination, ensuring that our space is as inclusive and welcoming as possible.

Our philosophy is to give visitors the opportunity to engage directly with the artist, so invigilation by the artist is an important aspect of the show. We also give preference to artists who offer workshops.

Our artist-led shows have a discounted fixed fee, which is a contribution to our overheads. We may be in a position to offer a bursary in certain circumstances.

Please do not submit a proposal unless in response to an open call on Instagram.
