PALIMPSEST PROJECTS TAKEOVER

London-based American artist Gina DeCagna returns to One Paved Court this autumn with her curatorial debut, which she has spearheaded under the new curatorial platform Palimpsest Projects CIC.

Working with a wide array of artists throughout the UK, the platform is focused on ‘rewriting stories’ and is featuring contemporary art practices that revise, erase, select, and make anew from pre-existing material or cultural reference points. Many of the featured artists are pulling from the English language, texts, and literature while some are creating from what lies beyond language — such as non-verbal gestures, mark-making, mapping, weaving, or other sensory input.
