Stathis Dimitriadis presents his latest series of text based sculptures and poetic objects

WORDSROBJECTS is a body of work developed the last 3 years at the convergence of conceptual art, craft, and poetry. With a fusion of text and imagery into materials such as ceramic, paper or found objects, Stathis creates paradoxical, metaphorical, and playful associations that challenge the familiar use of text and enhance the experience of objecthood.

Each of the artworks is produced with a unique process that pushes the boundaries between language and matter. Vessels are hand thrown, sliced, peeled, filled with paper, and stencilled with words and verses. Poems are written, fragmented, carved and drawn onto sculpted or found objects.

**Workshops: The public is invited to engage and respond to the experimental nature of the show by participating in walk-in concrete poetry workshops of combining objects with words.
